Please ensure that you read them thoroughly before making a booking. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at info@strengthinmumbers.com.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated occasionally, so we recommend checking them regularly to stay informed.

About Us

  • Strength In Mumbers® is run by fully qualified pre- and postnatal fitness specialists, dedicated to providing safe and effective workouts.

  • Our classes cater to individuals of all fitness levels, with modifications available to suit your personal needs and capabilities.

  • While our classes are primarily aimed at postnatal women with preschool-age or younger children, we welcome women at any stage of their motherhood journey, including prenatal participants under appropriate advisement from their health professionals.

    About You

  • Our classes are designed for mothers to attend with their child(ren), but you are also welcome to attend on your own if you prefer.

  • If you are currently pregnant, it is important to follow the advice of your midwife, GP, or consultant regarding exercise. Please ensure you inform your instructor of your pregnancy, regardless of gestation.

  • Postnatal participants are typically accepted 6 weeks after a vaginal birth or between 6 and 12 weeks after a C-section, following approval from a health professional.

    Our Classes

  • Each class lasts approximately 45 minutes and classes are held at various venues in the Andover area.

  • Please aim to arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. This allows the instructor to check in with you and discuss any updates or changes regarding your health.

  • Classes generally align with Hampshire school terms, with occasional short courses during school holidays, at our discretion.

  • Courses typically range from 5 to 7 weeks, depending on the term length.

    Booking

  • You can book classes through our website. Alternatively, you may book ‘manually’ by contacting us via email, Facebook, or Instagram.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

  • Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email containing all relevant details, including class dates, times, and locations.

    Class Availability

  • Class times and locations are listed on our website. As these may occasionally change, we encourage you to double-check the schedule before booking.

  • If a class is fully booked, you can contact us to inquire about joining a waiting list, should one be available.

    Venues and Property Security

  • The venues we use are not owned or exclusively managed by us, which means availability may vary. In cases where a venue becomes unavailable, we will notify you and provide alternative arrangements wherever possible.

  • Please take care of your belongings, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items.

    Refund Policy & Cancellations

  • By booking a course, you commit to attending the full length of the course. As such, we cannot offer refunds for missed classes, part completed courses or cancellations.

  • We strive to accommodate make-up classes within the same course timeframe, but this may not always be possible due to class capacity limitations.

  • Refunds for cancellations due to medical reasons require a doctor’s note and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • If we need to cancel a class, we will offer an alternative session or a refund for the missed class.

  • Refunds will not be offered if classes are cancelled for poor weather conditions or any other ‘Acts of God.’

  • Course fees are clearly stated in our advertising and communications. Fees may vary depending on the course length but will not change once you have booked.

  • We reserve the right to update our pricing for future courses.

Payment

  • Payment should be made in full before the start of your course to secure your place. This can be done via our website or, at our discretion, through a BACS transfer.

  • Late payments may result in your booking being cancelled.

Extra Children

  • You are welcome to bring more than one child to our classes, but please inform us of any additional children, including their names, ages, and any relevant medical information.

  • There are no additional charges for bringing extra children.

Your Health and Safety

  • To ensure your safety, you must complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) before attending your first class.
